1) Conditions of entry

Delegates are not permitted to enter if they:

  • Are experiencing any flu or COVID-19 symptoms (sore throat, runny nose, persistent cough, shortness of breath, fever).
  • Have been in close contact with a person who has tested positive for COVID-19 (during the period of time in which the virus is contagious).
  • Are awaiting the results of a test for COVID-19.
  • Reside with anyone who is awaiting the results of COVID-19 test.
  • Have returned from international travel and failed to observe the government requirement to quarantine for 14 days.

Masks are recommended but not mandatory. Please bring your own mask; we will also have masks available at the registration desk.

2) We have a contactless check in – download the app and we’ll use the QR code in the app to check you in. Please bring your own mask

3) Questions will be asked only via the Event App or Event Portal due to health restrictions on using shared microphones.

4) Bring your smart phone or tablet for the Event App or your laptop if you’d like to use the portal for asking questions. The portal works on PC and Mac and is optimised for the Chrome browser.

5) Please add a profile image – it’s hard to know who is who when you are online

6) Check out the Contact Exchange in the Event App – you can connect with live and virtual delegates.

7) Check out the Exhibitors – the exhibition hall is open during the catering breaks.

8) Attend the Virtual Networking Event on Wednesday from 4.30-5.30pm and visit our sponsors via their sponsor presentations on Wednesday via the portal.

9) We are running a hybrid event and have 2 – 3 minute breaks between all sessions. This helps reduce screen fatigue for our online delegates.

10) While you can check out the portal from today, the main events will only be live/turned on from Wednesday afternoon

11) Win a $100 gift voucher! How? Earn points by participating in the event: Upload your profile photo, connect with an industry peer in the Meeting Hub, answer trivia questions and check in at the virtual exhibition hall.

The five delegates with the most points earned by midday on Friday, 18th September will win a $100 ACCOR gift voucher valid at over 210 hotels, resorts and apartments across Australia, Fiji and New Zealand.

12) The Event Portal will be open until Friday 16 October 2020 – so you can re-watch all the presentations at your leisure, and catch any Workshop sessions that you weren’t able to attend at the live event.

3) Please add a profile image – it’s hard to know who is who when you are online

4) Check out the Meeting Hub within the event portal – connect with others from Wednesday onwards via video calls, messaging, one-on-one meetings

8) To help avoid ‘screen fatigue’ we are asking you to ‘enter’ and ‘exit’ each session, returning to the timeline for 2 – 3 minute breaks between sessions.

9) CPD points – similar to a live event, you have to enter a session within the first 5 minutes and not exit before the last 5 minutes for us to be able to record your attendance.
